Baby Shower cuteness

So much can be done with sugar cookies.  Any size, shape, color, theme....the possibilities are endless!  These cookies were made as favors for a baby shower (my own, actually...how fun to make something for us and our family!), as favor bags for the guests to take home.  People loved the design, and of course, everyone loves cookies, not to mention edible favors!  The colors (pink, blue and green) were used because those are nursery colors.  But again, with sugar cookies, only your imagination will hold you back!

A perfect "Thanks!!"

What better way to show your appreciation than with a bouquet of COOKIES?  Beautiful, simple, and of course, delicious, a cookie bouquet will brighten anyone's day and show them that you went the extra mile to say "Thank you!!".  Of course, the cookie bouquet doesn't end with thanks; be it baby shower, congratulations, good luck, graduation...the sky's the limit!

Welcome, baby Logan!

For a friend/co-worker's baby shower, I made sugar cookies with royal icing, and the lemon-blueberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and blueberry filling that always go FAST!!  These kind of treats are fun and simple, and because of their versatility, they can be used for any theme, any color, any occasion!

Boy or Girl?

What better way to tell those you love that you're expecting?  Everyone loves brownies, and these, with pink and blue buttercream and white chocolate hearts, are the perfect (and yummiest!) way to announce your big news!  These happen to be Gluten-Free (as per request of the customer), but of course these can be made with any kind of brownie...or cookie...or cake bite!  Possibilities here are endless!

Chocolate Tiramisu

I've had to take a break from blogging, because I'm pregnant, and food has not been agreeing with me!  However, the couple of times I have been able to bake, I've experimented with a few new recipes.  One that I loved was chocolate tiramisu; it has no alcohol or coffee, which is perfect for a preggie like me, or for someone who prefers not to have those tastes.  This tiramisu is a crowd-pleasure, and is delicous and sweet without being overly rich.  It looks gorgeous on a plate, and it great for a get together or party!  Homemade ladyfingers, homemade whipped cream, mini chocolate chips and chocolate syrup...how can you go wrong?
